Kampala, Uganda. October 8, 2019. Uganda Airlines received two new Bombardier planes on October 7, 2019; growing the number of the National Airline aircraft fleet to four. Last year, Uganda ordered for four CRJ900 regional jets as part of the much-anticipated plan for the revival of the national carrier. The first batch of two new other aircrafts was received on April 23, 2019 at Entebbe International Airport.
Uganda Airlines could take to the skies again following a change in wind from the Uganda Government to revive the defunct national carrier. Uganda Airlines last flew in 2001.
